Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. Baptist Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. We do, however, suggest you contact your tax advisor for clarification.

What options do I have for fulfilling my gift?

You can fulfill your gift with a credit card, personal check or electronic transfer. For stock, bequest, real estate or in-kind gifts, please call our main office at 901-227-7123.

Employees of Baptist also have the option of donating through pre-tax payroll deductions.

Can I specify how my gift is to be used?

Yes. You can designate your gift to go wholly, or in part, to one or more of the funds or subfunds mentioned on this website. Or, you can choose the general Foundation Fund for your gift.

Can I give in memory or honor of someone?

Absolutely. Simply select the appropriate button on the online donation form and fill in the name or names of your honoree. Dedications can be made to individuals, businesses or organizations.

How does Baptist Foundation use the donations received?

At Baptist Foundation, 100% of gifts go to the intended purpose as determined by the donor.

Can I make recurring contributions?

Yes. You can make regular monthly or annual contributions to Baptist Foundation.

How do I change the amount of my recurring contributions?

To adjust the amount of your recurring contributions, just call our main office at 901-227-7123.

Can I fulfill my gift over time in regular payments?

Yes. Large gifts are gratefully accepted on an installment basis. Call our main office at 901-227-7123 to learn more about this option.

Will I receive acknowledgement when my gift is disbursed by Baptist Foundation?

Most gifts are directed toward their intended purpose immediately, so you can rest assured that your donation is being used according to your wishes.

How long has Baptist Foundation been around?

Baptist Foundation was established in 1983, and since then it has played a significant part in the growth of Baptist Memorial Health Care, including the construction of new hospitals and clinics throughout our footprint and fulfilling Baptist’s mission to make quality health care accessible to every member of our community.
